Placeteco provides precision machining for complex aerospace parts, with expertise in non-metallic materials including composites, thermoplastics, and insulation materials. Our CNC capabilities feature 5-axis, 3-axis and Router CNC machines.

Placeteco has decades of experience in thermoforming interior panels, fairings, ventilation ducts, etc. for the Aerospace & Defense sector. Our capabilities include forming parts up to 4 ft × 8 ft using advanced thermoplastics such as Kydex, Lexan, Ultem, Royalite, etc.

Placeteco has recently expanded its capabilities to include FDM 3D printing for aerospace production parts. With the addition of an industrial high-temperature 3D printer, we can produce parts using ULTEM™ 9085.

Placeteco specializes in manufacturing out-of-autoclave composite aerospace parts. Prepreg lamination is performed in an environment controlled clean room and thereafter cured in an oven. We also have the capability to perform resin infusion with dry fibers.

Placeteco manufactures various aerospace parts through polyurethane casting. This process involves mixing and pouring liquid polyurethane into a mold, where it cures into the desired shape or expands into the mold.

Placeteco delivers cost-effective assemblies through vertically integrated secondary processes including, mechanical assembly (rivets, nut plates, helicoils), subassembly integration, adhesive bonding, painting and upholstery.
